Getting My @$$ Kicked...

I know, I know, not a lot of sympathy on this one... Sorry about the lack of posting this week. For those that are friends with me on the Book of Face, you know that I'm in Vegas for SHOT Show this week. I've had about eight minutes to breathe so far this week...

I know, I know, "sympathy" is in the dictionary between s**t and syphilis...

I've been on the go from 7AM until about 10PM every day, and given that I'm still on East Coast time, I'm getting up at 9 AM (EST) and staying up until 3AM... Throw in eating crap, or simply not eating, and I've been getting all kinds of run down. But there's only one full day left...

Will be back to regular posting next week.

That is all.

So, let me get this straight.

You are in a warm place where you get to look at and handle various weapons (some of which have to be pried out of your hands while you wail and scream "MINE!!!"). And you are a little run down because you are acting like a kid in a candy shop with $50 in his pocket for sweets.

And we are supposed to feel sorry for you.

I'll give you envious. Not sorry.

Sympathy. From the Greek. It means 'to suffer.' When I say I sympathize with you I am suffering with you.

Philadelphia is also Greek. I means brotherly love.

Yeah, but think of all the cool toys you've gotten to fondle... :-)

Come on now, Old NFO. It is simply not polite to talk about what he does with the booth babes:

After all, what happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas...

I can attest to what Jay is saying! I saw him on the main show floor on day one of SHOT Show. He looked haggard already and apologized he couldn't stop to talk. I thoroughly understood.

I feel your pain. I did a conference at the Venetian in May. Stayed at a very nice hotel a block from the tram at the far end of the Strip. Walked my feet to nubs and decided I really don't care for Las Vegas. Thanks for taking one for the team.
