Last Bloggershoot Update: The Ordnance!

As I've done in years past, I figured I'd offer a roundup of ordnance coming to the Seventh Annual Northeast bloggershoot. This helps folks plan ammo purchases and gives a chance to ask for certain firearms they might like to try.

Now, I'm traveling real light this year, as I'll be driving through several quite unfriendly states on the way to the bloggershoot. I will of course have all arms unloaded and locked in a sturdy box as required under the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986, so even in the darkest of dark places (I am going well around NYC, thank you), I am legal in all instances.

With that said, I'll be bringing the following:

York Arms Conspirator (.223 Rem/5.56 NATO)
Kel-Tec SUB2000 (9 mm)

Glock 19 (9 mm)
Smith & Wesson model 17 (.22 LR)
Smith & Wesson model 27 (.38 Spl/.357 Mag.)
Ruger 22/45 (.22 LR)
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 (.380 ACP)
North American Arms Sidewinder (.22 Mag/.22 LR)

There will also be at least one full-auto M16 (5.56 NATO, brass-cased only, please) and a H&K G3 (7.62X51mm, again, brass-cased, please). Mopar will be bringing a Serbu single shot .50 BMG for the loudening, and I suspect there will be several suppressed guns in .22LR/9mm/.45 ACP/others. If anyone is bringing anything particularly interesting/novel, let us know so we can plan ammo purchases accordingly.

See you all in five days!

That is all.

Like you, I'm sneaking across the Border through Enemy Territory (Vive La Resistance!) and traveling light. One AR, One SKS, One 9mm and some Ammo.

But if My Buddy "Storm" can break free, God only knows.

So, where's Friday Dinner?

You kids have a good time, and pick up when you're done. (Brass ain't cheap!)

For those of you who'll be traveling in the vicinity of Albany NY, feel free to thumb your nose at the State House. Tell 'em I sent you.

I am still not sure what guns to bring along but am pretty certain of at least three of them:

S&W Model 22A-1 in .22LR
Taurus PT145 MP in .45ACP
Glock 26 in 9mm
Marlin 336 in .35 Remington

Will probably bring a couple to few more pistols and a few more rifles and or shotguns.

Will also have some binary bang stuff but currently do not have any containers into which to put it once mixed. If any one has smallish containers, say the size of old film canisters, that they could donate for a blast, that would be excellent.

All the best,

Whoops, I guess that was four of them.

I'll see you at dinner, but I can't make the shoot.

I don't know that we ever settled on a place for dinner. I'm thinking whatever is within stumbling distance of the Extended Stay America, because after driving all day I'm not going to want to go too far... ;)

I'm only bringing a couple things:
* Mosin Nagant M44
* Marlin 60 .22lr Rifle
* Ruger Mark-III Target 22/45

I'd really like to try out your Smith 22a. That was on my short list for .22 pistols had I not bought the Ruger.

Mopar -- I've got a few rounds of .45acp. Mind if I try the Springer 1911 Range Officer? That, and maybe the Century 12ga lever gun? I bet that could be FUN.

I'll bring the little Mossberg as well as my new Rossi Ranch Hand in .44 Magnum.
The Smith and Wesson 500 is always fun.

I'll bring some ammo to share, I picked up some .308 brass cased stuff the other day and some other calibers.

I will think of others as I rummage around.

Downtown Nashua is only a short hop away from the Extended Stay, so if Peddlar's is still viable we can hang out there. The music starts about 10ish at Martha's, if that is still on the list. Either is more conducive to our kind of crowd than say, the nearby Applebee's. There is a new Tilted Kilt near the Five Guys you have been to Jay.I think they are open now.

The Crowne Plaza has a bar nearby and serves food as well, but perhaps not what you had in mind though for meeting space.

KC's is of course in Manchester, and would be a bit of a drive for you, Jay, so let's stay closer to your Nashua location.

Anyway, we can firm up plans later in the week. I think Peddlar's would work for us. But you decide.

I've never been hungry after Peddlar's!

I'm good with the Peddlar's Daughter or Martha's. It sounds like Peddlar's Daughter is closer; I'd prefer that. I have been to a Tilted Kilt and been less-than-impressed.

So, Peddlar's, or Martha's?

All I'm bringing is the musket. I'm not sure how many rounds I can make (I was going to roll cartridges tonight but ended up dealing with water issues instead), so if you've got any extra .735 ball, let me know.

Let's do Peddlar's, then the Music Lover's can head over to Marthas while us Oldster's who need some sleep can rack out. ; )

As for Tilt-n-Kilt; Never Again.
