Whose Fault?

This is positively genius. Now Obama has a fall guy for the remaining two years in office. If anything bad happens in the Middle East, he can point to this:

U.S. Is Sending an Aircraft Carrier to the Persian Gulf, Just in Case
With the security situation deteriorating in Iraq, the Pentagon announced that it would send an aircraft carrier into the Persian Gulf to afford the United States a military option. From the Pentagon statement:

The order will provide the Commander-in-Chief additional flexibility should military options be required to protect American lives, citizens and interests in Iraq."
The U.S.S. George H.W. Bush is the carrier getting the call, which is fitting since the first American adventure in Iraq came at the behest of the elder Bush. It's a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, meaning not only is it one of the largest warships in the world, but it is also powered by two nuclear reactors.
See? If anything goes wrong, it's obviously Bush's fault...

Okay, I kid, but the situation over there is looking rather grim. I mean, when Iran has to send in troops to help keep terrorists at bay, it might be time to swallow his pride and admit that pulling troops out early wasn't his best idea ever. And "no one could have seen this coming"??? Really? Then again, admitting fault hasn't exactly been a strong suit of this administration.

Maybe they can claim the anti-terrorism forces got lost along with Lerner's e-mails?

That is all.

You know what? Screw it, I'm on a roll tonight.

This is the same jackass whose State Dept can't seem to extricate ONE Marine from the goddamned Mexicans, but can find the time to team up with the bad guys AND trade 5 HVTs for a deserter?

Jesus bloody wept.

Luckily, a Blackhawk can make a round trip from the Gulf to Bagdhad and back on internal fuel, carrying 11 embassy evacuees (more if they abandon all luggage and cram in tight. . . could probably lift 20 per sortie).

And then we can push the Blackhawks off the deck of the carriers to make room for more. . .

Given Chairman Zeros' track record of late, and questionable loyalties of record, he'll probably _pay_ the Iranians to put a couple of Exocets into said carrier.
