Well, That's One Way To Do It...

Fed up with the high cost of health care? Think medicine is so easy anyone can do it? Well, this guy certainly did...

Man accused of fraudulently treating hundreds of SC patients pleads guilty to federal charge
A man accused of stealing a South Carolina physician's identity and treating hundreds of patients, by doing checkups and prescribing drugs, pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Ernest Osei Addo, 51, stole the identity of a friend who was a doctor and he worked for several medical clinics before his scheme was uncovered, authorities said. Police believe Addo, who was heavily in debt, was motivated by money.
You have to wonder how he was found out...

You've got to admire the chutzpah, if nothing else. Dude just steals his buddy's MD license and heads to the nearest clinic to do him some doctorin'. He's going to regret his choice, of course, as he's being hit with a pretty serious fine, and with good reason. Between the possibility of causing serious injury, as well as the very real possibility he could be prescribing drugs that people had no right to have, this is something that should face stiff charges.

Unless, of course, he accepted ObamaCare insurance, then he'd be all set...

That is all.

Grrr. I don't have a lot of sympathy for fake docs. My wife put up with some very treatable conditions for most of her life because she was diagnosed with arthritis in her legs by some unlicensed back country quack. If the guy was still alive when I found out I'd probably be in prison today.

Need to see if he managed to kill anybody and put his ass on trial for murder or attempted murder...

Wouldn't it be funny if his record was actually BETTER than the average MD? I'd kind of like to see the results of his care...
