Serendipity...

Since we were talking about Pixar films, and today is 3/19, here's something ... numerical.

Monsters, Inc. was TheBoy's favorite movie when he was a toddler. Both of my kids picked one movie when they were about 2 or so, and wanted to watch it over and over and over. Monsters Inc. was that movie for my son (Finding Nemo was the one for BabyGirl G.). I've probably seen it close to 50 times, and listened to it in the background on long car rides probably twice as much again.

And yet I'll still pop it in on a rainy weekend and watch it with the kids - and will gladly do so as long as they'll watch it with me...

That is all.

It was "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" for our girls. You think "It's a Small World After All" is insidious? Try listening to "The rain rain rain came down down down..." 30 or 40 times a week.

It's a little ironic that I thought of the Monster Control Bureau when I saw the guys in the contamination suits.
