There are some sweet lookin' bikes, most of them built around small(er) Japanese and Chinese two- and four- strokes.
My favorite is this 400cc:

But it was the Lotus that really knocked me out:

Damn, but that's a sexy looking bike.
Just because I ride a Harley doesn't mean I don't respect and admire other motorcycles. I am fully capable of appreciating a well-done Japanese motorcycle, either a slick stock bike like the Honda Valkyrie or a wild custom like the Bandit Atlas above. I've ridden to the Laconia motorcycle rally with friends on pretty much every motorcycle out there. I can drool over a slick, lowered-and-choppered Honda Shadow just as much as a Harley Softail.
There is one thing wrong with the customs, though. They look as though they'd be terribly uncomfortable to ride for more than a short trip. It's the same issue I have with sportbikes (aside from not trusting myself on one). While I think a daily commute wouldn't be too bad, I'd pass on any trip longer than an hour on a CBR or other sportbike. The touring bikes like the Honda ST1300, OTOH...
Get out and ride, no matter what you're on - spring's coming...
That is all.
