Ah, The Fruits of OccupyPlacename...

14 teens charged with breaking into Southern California mansion, causing $1 million damage
Authorities have filed criminal charges against 14 teenagers who allegedly broke into a Southern California mansion and held a party that caused more than $1 million in damage and losses, including the theft of a stuffed snow leopard.

Los Angeles County prosecutors announced the charges Tuesday.

Authorities say the party promoted on social media in November brought more than 100 teens to the La Habra Heights mansion while the owner was away.
The suspects are 15 to 18 years of age. Pause for a second and ruminate on this: for practically their entire lives, they have been told, ad nauseum, that rich people are the enemy. That eeeeeevil wealthiest 1% that Al Gore mentioned in the 2000 debates with George Bush - even for the 18 year olds, that's 14 out of 18 years they've been inundated with class warfare rhetoric. In the past six years, they've seen the Occupy movement take over (and trash) major cities under the guise of some mythical "fairness" - that it's not fair that some people are rich while others are not.

They have been taught - nay, brainwashed - into thinking that being rich is evil, and that destruction of property is a valid protest method...

That's not to say that they're blameless, mind you. Breaking and entering is pretty serious, as is vandalism, theft, and destruction of property. They can and should be charged to the fullest extent of the law - and for those that are tried as juveniles, their parents should be 100% liable for the damage wrought by their out-of-control offspring. I would be MORTIFIED if TheBoy were ever involved in a stunt like this, and he would be punished accordingly. I'd also take a good long look at what I was teaching him, at the values I was instilling and the messages I was sending, because obviously somewhere along the line I failed to give him the necessary values to know that trashing the house of a complete stranger for any reason is wrong.

I would dearly love to know, though, if the owner of this house had sponsored any Obama/Biden fundraisers...

That is all.

Did they know that the home had been invaded?

Or were they just invited to a party?

This makes a difference,sorta.

We don't know if they all trashed the place, or just a few, or maybe some stayed late and trashed it after the crowd left....

Not enuff details
