Quick Shout-Out...

TheBoy told me I would be remiss if I did not remind everyone that today is the birthday of Celtics legend and US gold medalist Bill Russell, considered to be one of the greatest basketball players ever (at least according to my son). The Celtics are the only sports team I've ever really followed, having come of age in the 1980s when the Celtics positively ruled the NBA, and Bill Russell was instrumental in building the team in the earlier years.

Bill Russell.

Olympian gold medalist, 1956 Olympics in Melbourne, Australia.Voted into the NBA Hall-of-Fame, 1975.
Led the Celtics to their first championship in 1957. Pretty darn impressive resume there.

Happy birthday, Mr. Russell.

That is all.

Unrelated question: Are we getting gun-related content back anytime soon, or is that out altogether due to your new position?

(no snark intended)

Well, there was the story about the goblin blowing Captian Happy and the twins to oblivion last week. Or doesn't that count?

Yep, back in the day when they didn't jaw about how great they were, they just went out and PROVED it...
