Now That's Just A Bad Omen...

Birds attack peace doves freed from pope's window
VATICAN CITY — Two white doves that were released by children standing alongside Pope Francis as a peace gesture have been attacked by other birds.

As tens of thousands of people watched in St. Peter's Square on Sunday, a seagull and a large black crow swept down on the doves right after they were set free from an open window of the Apostolic Palace.
Man, that's gotta be a bad omen. The dove, a universal symbol of peace, is attacked by a raven and an seagull. Poe and Coleridge must be laughing their @$$e$ off right about now. I wonder what the ruling is on papal dove season.

Making things even more interesting, Pope Francis was making an appeal for peace immediately before the attack. So, we have an appeal for peace from the leader of a major world religion, followed by an international sign of peace. Which is immediately attacked.

If I were in the area that Pope Francis was trying to bring peace to, I'd be more than a little concerned...

That is all.

A little subtle for my taste.

Doves being fried by lighting bolts removes the doubt.

Some One is telling the Pope it's time to shift mode. Less of the Church of Peace, more of the Church Militant...
