'Tis The Season, Part III

With less than two weeks until Christmas (how in blue blazes did THAT happen???), I figured we could ramp up the Christmas music a little...

Chuck Berry and Christmas music. You really can't get much better than that... With the Mrs. taking care of wrapping up the Massachusetts end of things, Christmas has more or less been handed over to me. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Yes, the kids are getting (airsoft) guns for Christmas - I mean, c'mon, their dad is moving them 500 miles away to go work for the NRA. Of *course* they're getting something gun-related (that, BTW, they have *both* asked for...)

Oh, there's other stuff, too, but I won't say anything on the 1:1,000,000 chance they're keeping tabs on ol' dad here...

That is all.

A few years ago for Christmas my son wanted an airsoft gun he could customize. I went to a shop in town where they tried to sell me a wood and metal AK replica that cost as much as a real AK.

He got the plastic one.

Jay, this year it's gunny Christmas goodness for the kids...Cricket 22 singleshot with Mossy Oak pink camo for the 3 granddaughters in Mass. The guys at my local gun shop thought it was"cute". Ruger 10/22 Boy Scout edition for the 2grandsons and granddaughter in Texas and a Savage .308 for my daughter in Georgia to use deer hunting. I want to get the grandkids started on the right road concerning gun safety, proper use and preventing any fear the school systems may try to instill in them. Especially the girls in Mass. My 2 sons and daughter are all military trained in firearms and are as excited about the pending gifts as I hope the grandskids will be. Merry Christmas to you and your family and welcome to free America!
