Not Atypical...

Here's a story from the BLNN with another example of Teleprompter Jesus and how he cares about the children...

Young ballerinas kicked out of theater for MSNBC's Obama interview
A group of young ballerinas rehearsing for “The Nutcracker” was kicked out of American University’s theatre so MSNBC host Chris Matthews could interview President Obama on Thursday.

American University admitted they dumped Ballet Petite’s two final dress rehearsals so they could host MSNBC’s “Hardball College Tour.” Matthews will be presiding over a one-hour conversation with the man he’s likened to President Kennedy’s last brother, President Abraham Lincoln and Jesus Christ.
Now, I understand that it was MSNBC and American University responsible for kicking out the aspiring ballerinas, not President Obama. I just have a hard time believing there was no other area for the interview to take place. I also like how MSNBC refused to comment. They know they messed up, but they also know that, outside of Fox News, this will never get any air time.

And again, I ask what the response would have been had that been President Bush who displaced a group of young ballerinas for an MSNBC interview. Somehow, I suspect that the President who was hounded for carrying a plastic turkey at a photo op would not have been given the same treatment as the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I do hope that someone puts Chris Matthews on a suicide watch the day Obama leaves office, though...

That is all.

Now I know that in "hounded for X" you meant to emphasize "hounded" rather than X, but still:

I am not certain why any school would not look for another venue on their campus. I know it happens, but I also know that some of these kids are also from "well-to-do" families and pissing off a potential benefactor is not something that should routinely be done. It happens more often than not and the school will say something exactly like this: "we had the opportunity to host the current president while he was interviewed and the benefits outweigh any such inconveniences, so no; we are not apologizing." To which I say and with that attitude my checkbook shall remain closed.

I'd like to see Chris on suicide watch NOW.
