George Zimmerman is a pinhead.
Yes, I know. The media has gotten, well, pretty much everything wrong with regards to Zimmerman ever since, well, he got out of his truck that fateful night in Sanford, Florida. It is entirely possible that they've gotten everything about this story wrong, too. Except one: he gave the media a reason to write about him again. They're watching him, waiting for him to screw up again, and he appears eager to not disappoint them.
He got involved with someone new, okay, that happens. Now, with the entire American media out looking for any reason, no matter how flimsy, to hang him out to dry - and seeing how eagerly they've reported his traffic tickets, his speeding escapades, and the alleged abuse of his ex-wife, you'd think he'd be a little more circumspect about his behavior.
I still think that he was justified in shooting Trayvon, don't get me wrong - the recent spate of "Knockout" goes to show that allegedly "unarmed" "children" can and have beaten people to death (often for no reason other than "it's a game"). It's just that with each successive episode, the trailer park soap opera gets yet another airing, and it's only a matter of time before Zimmerman's poor choices land him in jail.
And I suspect Zimmerman's lifespan in a detention facility will be measured with a stopwatch.
That is all.
