Since someone (the World's Most Dangerous Librarian) was kind enough to send me a present, I had to show them off, right? Well, when one receives a pair of flaming shoelaces, you need something fast to put them on - so on my rollerblades they went!
What's especially great about these new laces (besides the fact that they make me go even faster BECAUSE FLAMES) is that I can now distinguish my rollerblades from my son's. He has the same shoe size I do now (and he's TWELVE), and there was only one style of rollerblade available when we found them. So thanks Breda!
All month long I'll be going about kilted and posting kilted pictures as part of Kilted to Kick Cancer. As we've done in years past, there's a friendly competition running to see who can raise the most money for prostate cancer research. As I did last year, I have a pretty awesome array of prizes that can be won as an incentive to donate to the Prostate Cancer Foundation on my behalf. Which you can do here:
As always, thanks to everyone who has or is thinking about donating, and a special thank you to the folks that gave prizes as incentives!
That is all.
