Sometimes I get a little silly...
This weekend is our annual "Hometown Days", and part of the celebration is the "Cake Walk", where they do a "musical chairs" type relay to decide who wins cakes. It's one of those small town things; we really do have a "cow chip bingo", frex. The Boy Scouts sell cheeseburgers and hot dogs, the PTA sells raffle tickets, and everyone has a nice afternoon.
Every year the Mrs. and Baby Girl G. bake cakes for the cake walk, and this year, I looked at the various and sundry cake parts sitting around and realized I had KTKC gold. Of *course* we have a chef's hat - we're not barbarians.
All month long I'll be going about kilted and posting kilted pictures as part of Kilted to Kick Cancer. As we've done in years past, there's a friendly competition running to see who can raise the most money for prostate cancer research. As I did last year, I have a pretty awesome array of prizes that can be won as an incentive to donate to the Prostate Cancer Foundation on my behalf. Which you can do here:
As always, thanks to everyone who has or is thinking about donating, and a special thank you to the folks that gave prizes as incentives!
That is all.
