Kilted Picture, Day Eleven

Well, no one spoke up and prevented it, so here it is. A picture of me shooting rifle, prone:

Heh. Thanks to Wally for filling in as my camera man - he didn't want the upkilt picture any more than y'all did. Funny thing about shooting prone - the next day, my neck was all kinds of sore. I expected my shoulder to be a little tender, but I think that where I had the Savage elevated for a straight shot at the target I was stretching more than needed.

All month long I'll be going about kilted and posting kilted pictures as part of Kilted to Kick Cancer. As we've done in years past, there's a friendly competition running to see who can raise the most money for prostate cancer research. As I did last year, I have a pretty awesome array of prizes that can be won as an incentive to donate to the Prostate Cancer Foundation on my behalf. Which you can do here:

As always, thanks to everyone who has or is thinking about donating, and a special thank you to the folks that gave prizes as incentives!

That is all.

Jay when yer shootin prone, like a lazy man, ya gotta pull up your right knee & git off'n yer belly and diaphragm.
It'll help with that pesky lumpty bump of yer hearbeat in the scope.

Roger, ordinarily I'd agree with you, but he -was- wearing a kilt. That kind of posture is effective when shooting, but it's most unladylike.

Yeah all of my shooting coach skills went right out the door when there were hints of a "good" shooting posture.

Knees together, please, at least today!

Speaking of, there were some more, uh, agresive, upkilt pics too. I'd really suggest donating heavily before those get released!

Not the dreaded UPKILT pics. Oh no. The HORROR.
