Yep, He's Running for President in 2016...

Gov. Deval Patrick snubs, then touts EBT probe
Did you know that Gov. Deval Patrick has led the fight to end EBT-card abuse?

Just ask him.

“I think you know it was our administration,” he was saying yesterday, “that surfaced these issues and is working to get those balances down.”
No, you supercilious moron, your administration CAUSED these issues. EBT abuse wasn't a problem before you took office, because previous administrations weren't handing them out with precisely ZERO oversight. They also weren't alerting the worst offenders that they were on the verge of being investigated for fraud.

That's what's known as a politician right there, folks...

Patrick opposed any sort of oversight on the EBT cards from day one. Every time someone brought up that the system was rife with abuse they were pooh-poohed as "anecdotes" or "just stirring the pot". Now that they've decided to "fix" the system (and by "fix", we mean that in the classic MA political hack method, not in the sense of "make better") by alerting fraudsters to the potential of being audited, Patrick is taking credit for the "fix". That's pretty brazen right there.

Not as brazen, mind you, as President Clinton opposing DOMA, signing it into law, taking credit for it, then denouncing it and cheering its repeal...

That is all.

Just think of the 2016 DemaCommie Presidential Primaries. Half-a-Dozen New England/Mid-Atlantic Governors on a Stage saying "No, I'M Tougher on Gun Safety than YOU are! We Banned EVERYTHING, and we HUNG all the NRA Members we could find, and if Elected, I'll do the same for the Entire Country!"

I'm not surprised that Governor Erkel is as brazen as he is. It's worked fine for him so far, after all.

What amazes me is that people continue to follow him like lemmings.
