Wish *I* Had A Barn Like That...

Man. Some folks have all the luck. Check this out:

I saw a mid-1960s pickup, a mid-1970s Monte Carlo, and a late-1970s/early 1980s Corvette in that mix, along with the 30s era sedan. Man, that's quite the find, especially if those cars are unmolested. They might be a bit dusty and require some TLC to get back to showroom shape, but if they haven't been driven/used/abused - one allegedly has 1 mile on the odometer - they're worth some serious money.

Let's hope Jay Leno has some extra room in his garage for these babies...

That is all.

I think that pickup is a late fifties model (57? 58?). That is quite a find if those cars are in good shape.

There used to be business between Exeter & Seabrook that sold bushel & berry baskets and various farm sundries. At the back of the barn was a pristine un-restored tan Model A sedan. As a pre-teen child I drooled over it, swore that I would save my pennies and when legal age I would try to make an offer.

What little did I know then. I know who owns the barn now, but the car is long gone and wasn't there when he bought the place. I still have no idea what happened to that car.

Restored is cool for sure, but original un-restored and in running condition has a charm all it's own.

That pickup is a 1958 Cameo- THE RAREST pickup Chevy made. There are maybe 15 of them left complete in the US. Its like finding a Singer Sewing Machine 1911 in a trunk somewhere, NIB.

I'm sure some collector will scope them up at auction, but it won't be Leno. His automotive collection is much more esoteric.

His bike collection is more "One each of everything".
