Soldier's two wives meet at his funeral
HUNTINGTON PARK, California (KGET) - A soldier married to two women at the same time has been laid to rest after he was killed in Afghanistan.

Army Specialist Moises J. Gonzalez died in a vehicle rollover accident in Afghanistan on April 25th. He was 29 years old, and leaves behind three sons and two wives.
Ouch. Thank you for your service, SPC Gonzalez, and may you find your peace.

Why am I reminded of this, though?

I think Afghanistan was less dangerous for him...

That is all.

Yeah, every man I know lives with the knowledge that if he ever screws up that badly, she won't make it quick and painless.

Reminds me of the Amtrak engineer I heard about that had a wife, kids, and house at either end of the line. He kept it up for 10+ years till the IRS audited him.

Odd, though, that if the roles are reversed, then violence towards the unfaithful spouse or the partner in infidelity is no longer considered justified.
