I Would Pay Money to See This Happen...

Carr: Let Herald check welfare tips
I have a modest proposal for the Department of Terrorist, er Transitional Assistance (DTA).

Turn your telephone tip line over to the Herald.

It has become painfully obvious over the past 18 months that the DTA and Gov. Deval Patrick have zero interest in cracking down on waste, fraud and abuse in the welfare department.

What could account for this abject dereliction of duty? Professional courtesy, perhaps? More concern for illegal aliens and terrorists than the taxpayers?
Heh. Just for the privilege of seeing Howie Carr drive Cadillac Deval positively bat$hit insane in his last few months in office would be worth it alone. You know, because Howie might actually investigate some of the 50K recipients with no known addresses. Or the cases like the girlfriend of a deported Dominican drug dealer with $65 large in EBT cards.

Money quote:
In its “alert” to the bleeding hearts, the ACLU says that photo IDs, which are required to do anything in this society except vote and collect free money, would “stigmatize people who receive government assistance,” you know, like the galpals of once-deported illegal-alien Dominican drug dealers with $65,000 lying around their apartments.
Bingo, Howie. Photo IDs mean showing up. It's hard to show up for three/five/ten different names. Cadillac Deval discounts these as "anecdotes" - which he knows can't be disproven, as his administration is the only agency that could investigate and turn "anecdotes" into "data".

Which will happen right around the same time the sun burns out and we all freeze to death.

That is all.

Funny how Veterans have to show Photo ID to get the "Government Assistance" that they EARNED yet no one cares if they are "Stigmatized."

Funny how you have to be photographed by the DMV to get your privilege of a driver's license, or submit a photograph and fingerprints to obtain a LTC, which should be considered a Constitutionally protected right.

Photograph and fingerprints in exchange for an EBT card? Sounds reasonable to me.

I can't even get in to see my doctor without showing a photo ID.

I suppose I'm stating the obvious to point out that voter fraud is the key to the Democrats success. And that success depends on giving tax payer's money to the scammers of the world.

And you can't do that if you require ID because most merchants will be honest and turn in scammers.

And we just can't have that, can we?

+1 on all the above... and yeah, "I" have to show ID every time I use my benefits that I actually "EARNED"...

Well, technically we'll all burn up first. Before the sun goes out it'll expand into a gas giant with it's outer edge somewhere around the orbit of where Mars is now.

Happenstance/Coincidence/Enemy Action...

Yeah, I'd say they've hit that last mark...
How does this not warrant an investigation?
