Calling the Shots...

#1 blogdaughter sends this one in. Check #3 for some serious PSH...

4 shot glasses that could get you in trouble
No doubt that the experience of drinking your spirit of choice is dependent on the glassware. While there are some amusing and funky shot glasses out there, everyone once in a while someone crosses the line with decidedly inappropriate or shocking vessels that create more controversy than carefree fun.
The first two I can see. Prescription drug bottles? Really? I thought that most prescription drugs shouldn't be mixed with alcohol. Oh, sure, I get the idea that sometimes the cure for what ails you comes out of a bottle, but still. And I have never understood the second one, where a prom night is immortalized on a glass used to consume alcohol. The fourth one is just ewww, but I get it - too many of these and you'll wind up in the real thing...

But the PSH gets strong over #3. OMG! Gun paraphernalia! Sandy Hook! I love how the anti-freedom folks have been harping on the "ZOMG ASSAULT WEAPON" used - right up until they feel the need to point out that there was a  ZOMG SHOTGUN in the car. The shooter had a semi-automatic rifle, two semi-automatic pistols, and a shotgun - leaving pretty much revolvers and bolt-action rifles as the only non-Sandy Hook related firearms.

Personally, I'd have gone more for the "do you really want to drink out of something Dick Cheney used to shoot a lawyer in the face" angle, but that might have the opposite effect...

That is all.

That is one thing I do not understand about Sandy Hook: what guns did the shooter use in the school? Was the shotgun left in the car, or the Eeeevil Black Rifle?

Sigh... I would have more problems with #1 myself...
