Quick Bytes...

Got a handful of articles/stuff to share.

Scott Brown not ruling out run for office in NH. Two things on this: 1. Run, Scott, Run - to another state that would welcome a RINO like MD or RI; 2. To anyone on the left claiming that he shouldn't run from New Hampshire since he's from MA, I have three words for you: Senator Hillary! Clinton. (BLNN)

Thanks to Robb Allen for this one... It's "The World According to Diane DeGette"... You can insert your own phrase or phrases to suit - "my car's out of gas/can't afford a new one" etc.

Beretta's leaving Maryland. Good for them. Let them move to America and deprive Maryland of the jobs and tax revenue, just like Magpul in CO and (hopefully) Colt in CT. Actions have consequences, and demagoging a legal industry does, too. (Brad_in_MA)

They're not stopping at guns, either. Dangerous dogs 'bred for drug deals and crime by gangs' You see, having eliminated guns and knives, the gangs are turning to other options. Why, it's almost like banning the tool is irrelevant! (Yankeefried)

James Holmes' psychiatrist warned of threat before attack. See, this is what we're talking about. The Aurora, CO shooting was used as prime motivation in CO for the new bans, yet still no talk about what's to be done about mental health issues. It's a tough question, to be sure - but one that needs to be addressed if we're serious about lessening mass shootings. (BLNN)

"May you live in interesting times" indeed...

That is all.

Let's not celebrate Beretta's move yet. That Opposing View article is simply wrong. I've watched the video of the Beratta spokesman, he NEVER said Beretta was moving. He said is was possible. In fact, he got all wishy-washy when asked details about the law. Just this morning on Twitter, Beratta said "we are waiting to see what the signed bill looks like, before we comment."

RE Scottie: Something tells me that there aren't any other seats open for a RINO like him in the Mid-Atlantic or N.E. States. All the Dems/Socialists/Independents except for ShaHeen are staying put (at least for now), and any Republican who's an Incumbent isn't quitting.

But what is it with YOUR Massachusetts Republicans? Romney got beat by McCain in 2008, yet he comes back in 2012 thinking he can win? Brown gets thrown out by Lizzie Borden Warren, yet he thinks the people want him in Office?

I mean, is it the Water or something that make your Politicians incapable of understanding the word "NO!"

You could say that companies leaving states hostile to their businesses is part of the Law of Unintended Consequences, but the reality is that the Democratic Party has decided that the gun industry is evil, so having those industries leave the hostile states is just another example of how evil those businesses are. Just remember those "Romney shut down our non-viable companies instead of subsidizing our sorry asses forever" campaign ads.

I've been told it's a done deal that both Colt and Stag are moving to TX. If Stag goes, it's probably a sure bet Continental Machine Tool (maker of many Stag and Colt parts, and owned by the father of Stag's owner) will go too. Mossberg already has a plant in TX, look for them to move more jobs there. Ruger has already moved almost everything except their mailing address to AZ and NH; I'm told the remaining CT jobs will be going to the Newport, NH location.
If this is true, you are looking at 8000 jobs impacted, and Billions of dollars a year in the state economy.

Wow. I never thought Colt would move. Any idea on the time frame?

Wonder if they do tours like S&W? I'd like to see the factory before they do move...
