In response to my post on Saturday about kilts being good for one's reproductive health, reader Mussorgsky reminded me that 5.11 is having a limited run of their 5.11 Tactical Duty Kilts. Order up quick; they're only accepting orders through the end of the month, with delivery promised by the end of September.
For what it's worth, I love my TDKs (yes, I have three; I bought all three available colors when they first rolled it out. Don't judge me). For me it was easy - since I'm not of Scottish descent, the fact that they're not true kilts doesn't matter to me. They're much easier to get on and off than a traditional kilt, and - best of all - can be machine-washed (but line-dried, although I do that for most of my clothes as it is).
So kilt up! Save the swimmers and show of them gams while doing it. Kilted to Kick Cancer is around the corner, and it's never too early to be out and about raising awareness. The TDK price has been raised this year, but for a good cause - they're donating $10 of each purchase to a charity for veterans.
Wear a kilt, help out "the boys", and donate to help veterans - that's winning all over the place!
That is all.
