The LCP Addition!

Jeff B. starts us off on the right foot with a Monday morning addition to the DGC:

Police: Man fatally shot armed robber
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says a man fatally shot an armed robber early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the scene in the 3700 block of Park Tudor Drive shortly after 1:30 a.m on report of a person shot. Inside, officers found one person suffering from gunshot wounds.
This is about all the information we're given, except that there were at least two armed assailants, one of whom fled the scene after his partner in crime got ventilated. Honor among thieves apparently does not extend to sticking around once your partner has got himself shot. What's interesting, though, is that looking at the different DGCs, a good number of them involve multiple armed assailants, yet only a small minority of the cases see the good guy getting shot as well. Most often it's a case of the bad guys point their guns, the good guy pulls his and shoots, the bad guys run (or die).

"Give them what they want" works if you view "your money or your life" as wanting to get shot...

Dead Goblin Count: 380

That is all.

Hey, copper-plated lead is getting quite expensive these days. I consider it following the advice of the police and giving the goblins your around 3,500 ft/sec.

Or, you know, 1,500 ft/sec. My fingers betray me often.

No...I'm pretty sure your fingers are right.
I'd rather have the first option any day.

Probably wouldn't save me from ninjas, though!!

Yeah, you want to read that story.
