Fighting the Good Fight.

SAF is on the job, kicking @$$ and taking names...

BELLEVUE, WA – The Second Amendment Foundation today launched a new project aimed at promoting and protecting equality in the exercise of the individual fundamental right to keep and bear arms, with a video message for television and the internet, and a new website with a petition campaign.
President Barack Obama and his cronies have founded Organizing for Action (OFA), which is running a deplorable national media campaign aimed at lobbying Congress for additional restrictions on firearms, the primary means of self-defense for millions of law-abiding Americans. The SAF campaign will counter that effort.
The goal of this campaign is to highlight how gun control affects minority groups more than others. It's a great tactic - present the Second Amendment as the civil right that it is - and explain how gun control efforts will hit minorities and poor people hardest. I certainly hope there's a component dealing with how gun control shifts the balance of power to the physically more powerful male, as a gender equality issue as well.

Those that push "gun control" have no interest in social justice; if they did, they wouldn't push gun control at all. They're quick to point out that gun violence affects inner cities more than suburbs - but they neglect to mention that hand violence, foot violence, knife violence, bat violence, etc. all also affect inner cities more than suburbs. All gun control does is make the good, honest, law abiding folks in those inner cities unable to effectively protect themselves - as Chicago so brilliantly demonstrates, all the gun control in the world won't stop thugs from killing other thugs.

It's about time someone started spiking the ball back over the net, and it looks like the Second Amendment Foundation is about to do it.

That is all.

Oh, and on a side note: You know how you know SAF is doing a good job? When Huff-Po does a hit piece on them...

Our side has its moments sometimes too. Apparently, the GFW's failed to gain the proper website address & our side used it to send their requests to the NRA

We can't always be on the losing side.

I'da thought that thugs killing other thugs was a good thing, provided they don't shoot anybody else.

It actually gets funny.

Obama's peeps worked that site out with thier usual usual competence.

They didn't get the ".net" and some other, similar sites.

The .net site redirects to the NRA.

That's the best kind of ckingawesom.

Touring words:
First one I thought was "caubine" and I got excited, it must have been "caublne" as caubine didn't work.

Next touring word?

I'm getting all the coolest words today.

When Huff Po does a piece and basically supports the NRA position you know the SAF is having a great affect.
