Myrtle Beach robber tells woman "you're dead," runs off after victim pulls gun
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) - A would-be robber's attempt to take money from a Myrtle Beach woman early Friday morning ended after the victim pulled a gun on the suspect.
According to a Myrtle Beach police report, a woman going to work parked her car at the front of The Bagel Factory on 20th Avenue North around 3 a.m. The victim told police a man then opened her door, demanded money and then pushed her further in the car.
She kicked the guy after he pushed her, he threatened her, she got the gun out of her glovebox and helped him to rapidly reassess his plans for the morning. The mere sight of the pistol was enough to cause her attacker to run off, proving that even dumb criminals know not to, literally, bring a knife to a gunfight.
Again, to flagellate the deceased equine a bit, the GSGV would classify this as an act of "Gun violence" and check off the box for yet another incident. They would rather this woman have been at the mercy of some creep with a knife than have the best tools with which to defend herself. It's hard to understand why these groups want the strong to rule the streets, but there you have it.
Me? I vastly prefer a goblin have his "come to Browning" moment starin' straight down a .44 than to see an honest person victimized...
That is all.
