So Let's See 'Em!

Surely someone must have gotten some shiny new boomsticks for Christmas, right? Well, send 'em in - I would love nothing better than to have Friday's gun pr0n be a compendium of pictures of new guns in the hands of law-abiding folk as a result of the recent buying frenzy (or even just Santa rewarding the good gunnies out there!). AR lower? New revolver? CCW piece you've been waiting for? Snap a pic and send it in!

I got a few gift cards that will be turned into ammunition (there will be a re-evaluation of priorities in the G. armory shortly; stay tuned for some bahgains...), but nothing new for Christmas. Aside from the lovely York Arms target AR-15, I haven't bought a new gun since the S&W Bodyguard 380 two years ago - and right now is not the time to be thinking about a new gun IMHO (I'll wait until prices return to earth, thank you very much). But I know others have, so if you want to share let me know!

If you received a new gun for Christmas and want it featured, just shoot me an e-mail with "Xmas gun" in the header (or something similar).

That is all.

I helped my daughter and son-in-law give their son his first rifle, an old Stevens model 73. It needed a little TLC but I had the skillz and a big bottle of Hoppes #9. They're teaching their kids right, and I'm glad to help.

Other than that, just gift cards. The one from my boss is getting turned into birdshot for the Hangover Shoot at my club on New Year's Day.

Well, I have been asked by Nephew the Navy EOD Tech to see if I can get a nice Smith K or L Frame in .357 while he's heading to Afghanistan for a year. See, when they come back, he's going to the VolksRepublik of Kalifornia for a couple of years, and he doesn't DARE bring his ARs and Sigs and H+Ks there. So he wants something to back up his Marlin Lever Gun in .38/357.

But Jay, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY tried to get him to get a "SnubbieFromHell", but he said his Wife might have to use it, and he doesn't want to hurt her.

So, when I find something nice, I'll let you know.

Oh, BTW, since I am an Ohio Citizen, and he's an Ohio Citizen, I don't have to worry about "Straw Buying," since I'll be using my Buddies who have the "Not a Dealer" table at the Gun Show. You can do that in a Free State, you might have heard.

Some call it a Loophole. I call it Commerce.

I got an LPK and stock/buffer tube. Does a "box full o' gun parts" meet your criteria?

Here's what I have so far. The upper is ON A ^&$@#ING TRUCK SOMEWHERE WEST OF ILLINOIS. Palmetto State Armory, mid-length, NATO chamber, 1:7", chrome-lined, flattop. It'll look a lot like an issue M4, in a couple days. Then I'll start upgrading.

Jay;
I'm working like H--- at selling this and mortgaging that to enable the purchase of an Anschutz target rifle. (1913 if you need to know)
I'm hoping it will give me the wherewithall to earn a Master qualification in NRA smallbore prone competition. My current target rifle, the Kimber 82g is about tapped out at the high end of Expert.
I'll photo it for your Friday gun PrOn if and when it arrives.
