Life In The Suburban Outback...

Whoo-ee. Another busy weekend draws to a close...
  • Camper? Covered.
  • Plow stakes? Stuck.
  • Christmas decorations? Hung.
  • Tree? Trimmed.
  • Air conditioner condenser? Covered.
  • Children needed for a holiday-esque picture? Err. Some wrangling required.

I'm going to need three Advil and 250cc's of Dad juice, stat...

That is all.

I don't know what kind of Dad juice you use at your house, but at my house 250cc is five shots of Irish whiskey. Sounds about right.

LOL, glad I'm 'past' that stage... :-)

If you have the same amount of snow we have up here, you got your plow stakes in with plenty of time to spare.

I'll raise you an Advil and a Hot Buttered Rum.

What is a plow stake?

Alan: Tall stakes that line a driveway or road so you know where the pavement is when you plow the snow. Around here we also attach them to fire hydrants so we can find them under a snowbank.

You snow people and your strange customs.
