Reminder!

Okay folks... I really want to wrap up the Kilted to Kick Cancer fundraiser and pick the winners. To do this, though, I've got to put a deadline on receiving your ticket choice, so here it is. I still have some forty unclaimed tickets; that is, people who donated to either PCF or LiveStrong on my behalf without letting me know where they wanted their ticket(s) allocated.

I want to pick winners over this coming weekend. I will give the remaining folks through the end of this week to get their choices to me, and will pick the winner on Sunday. I'm also going to check my e-mail to make sure I haven't missed anything and have all the allocations correct, and then on Sunday I'll pick the winners of all six prizes. I've got three of the prizes in my possession and expect part of the fourth soon; the winners of the hat and the lower will be put in touch with the respective artisans...

Again, everyone, I want to thank all of you for your donations. We have raised over $25,000 for cancer research this year, more than twice what we raised last year - and next year we want to hit $50K. I had the extremely good fortune to meet with both Ambulance Driver as well as Michael and Stingray this past weekend (yes, we all wore kilts, just not at the same time). Michael and Stingray are plotting to unseat me next year, and I have to come up with something to top the awesome prizes I gave away as incentives...

Thanks again for donating; let me know if you haven't; and check in next year!

That is all.

Being forced to be patient, just to wait several more days while kept in suspense, to likely find out I am not going to win anything, stinks!

Here's something else to think about: Visualize the Bowie knife. See it clearly in your mind. The shine of the finish. The curve of the blade. The weight of it in my hand when I receive it in the mail. Does that help? Nope, doesn't work for me either. Hurry up, Jay!

I tried to picture that in my hands but as you said, nope it just does not work.
