Last Chance...

Okay folks. Tomorrow I'm going to choose the winners of the Kilted to Kick Cancer Fundraising prizes. I still have more than three dozen folks who have not contacted me to let me know where their tickets will go, and I'd really like to get that number lower. If you're not sure, send me an e-mail. If you haven't sent an e-mail, I can't put your ticket towards a prize. I want to pick winners tomorrow, so please, please please let me know ASAP if you haven't specifically sent me an e-mail about your ticket or tickets.

Let's get this wrapped up so the winners can start enjoying their prizes!

That is all.

That was wonderful of you to do all that. I had another fundraiser going, that unfortunately timed in with Kilted, but next year, you will be front and center on the right sidebar (well, you can't actually be "centered" on a sidebar, but you know what I'm talking about).

You're doing this just to drive those of us who DID send you our choices crazy, aren't you.

Are you familiar with the phrase "You snooze; you lose"?

Brigid,

Thanks. It's a cause I believe in, enough to bare my legs (and my upper lip!).

I appreciate the placement next year - even if I'll have a hot pink kilt to wear for it... :)

Ross,

I just hate the thought that someone might lose out, but I can't let this run forever.

Don't worry. Folks will know tomorrow...

Look, quit bugging us. Some of us donated for the sake of donating and aren't interested in prizes for doing so. Quit embarrassing us, already.

Chiefjaybob,

Are you implying that anyone donated only to have a chance to win a prize? If you were joking, please disregard. If you were serious, I think you ought to reconsider the obvious implication of what you wrote - that some of us donated for the chance of winning a prize.

All the best,
Glenn B

No, Glenn, that's not at all what I implied. My point was, I donated cause I wanted to, not that I had any interest in the prizes. This is why I have not sent in for tickets. I suspect I have company in that viewpoint. I have no problem with those that did donate and chose to enter the raffle. After all, isn't that what charity raffles are all about?
