Well, yesterday was cold, dreary, and raining, and by the time we got through setting up the range and futzing around with stuff, the decision was made to forgo shooting for the day. Several of us hopped into Ambulance Driver's truck and went looking for likely prairie dog hunting spots, and even managed to run into the game warden while out driving around. Managed to run a few magazines through the Ruger 22/45 and get the K-Yote situated (at ~ 200 yards it was easily hitting minute-of-prairie dog), and called it a day ourselves.
After an evening filled with Jennifer's heavenly lumpia, Stingray's junk waxing, AD's full body wax, a Spongebob cake for Matt G. and Phlegmmy, and surprise appearances from Salamander, I turned in a little early to get ready for the big range day tomorrow. I want to try the K-Yote at distance (~ 500 yards), test out the pistols, and maybe take one more trip to see if I can find some prairie dogs to send to Doghalla.
Possibly bulletins from the field, but no promises - there is ZERO reception there!
That is all.
