Ah, A Friday Addition!

Reader Renegade sends in the latest addition, just in time for the weekend!

Suspect Slain in Smoke Shop Robbery
Police are investigating a fatal shooting during a robbery gone awry at a southwest Albuquerque smoke shop on Friday.
Officers were called to the Full Spectrum Smoke Shop in a strip mall on Sage and 98th SW shortly before 4 p.m. after shots were fired. When they arrived, a man believed to be the robbery suspect was dead, police said. Police said it’s unclear who shot the suspect and a homicide investigation is taking place....
Later reports revealed that the clerk of the smoke shop fired the fatal shot(s). The Albequerque Journal is apparently published by the word, because it took three different stories before there was sufficient evidence that anything had happened... It appears that two young extralegal entrepreneurs decided to redistribute the wealth contained in a smoke shop but were thwarted in their efforts by an armed clerk.

Good for him - I'd rather read about a smoked goblin than a clerk any day...

Dead Goblin Count: 338

That is all.

'Robbery gone awry?'

More like 'happy ending!'

As a cigar smoker myself who frequents a variety of different smoke shops and cigar bars, I can honestly say that I have yet to be in one in the Dallas/Fort Worth area wherein there are no armed patrons or employees. Pretty much everyone I've run into in a cigar bar carries or at least owns guns.
Not the best places to hold up, IMO.
