KTKC Prize Spotlight: York Arms AR-15 Lower

As I've done the past three days, today I'll be featuring one of the prizes up for grabs in my bid to win the Kilted to Kick Cancer fundraising challenge. Today's prize is a stripped AR-15 lower courtesy of York Arms out of Maine - all prizes are made in the USA.

Prize Package Four: York Arms AR-15 Lower

Note: This is not the lower to be given away, but a representative lower similar to what is being offered. Obviously, the winner of Prize Package Four has to be eligible to own a firearm as well.

A few notes about this prize package:
  • This is the only chance to get a York Arms lower before next year - the current run is all apportioned, and there won't be another run until February at the earliest.
  • Serial number, caliber marking, and SAFE/FIRE selector are all up for customization. If it will fit, Wally can do it for you.
  • Magwell line art and engraving are included
  • Wally has offered to assist the winner of this prize package with building this into a finished lower or complete rifle. Parts and labor are separate, obviously, but Wally will build the rifle right. Stay tuned on this point...
Again, to win this awesome prize, all you need to do is make a tax-deductible donation of $10 to either The Prostate Cancer Foundation or Livestrong. It's just that easy!

Thanks to Wally and York Arms for this generous prize!

That is all.

Boy oh boy, if I win that, I am realy in trouble because it means having an AR built around it. My guess is that it would not be cheap. Then again, it would be worth it because I would bet my son would love that as a birthday or Christmas gift. I won't win it though, so nothing for me to worry about. My luck just doesn't run that way.

All the best,
Glenn B

Where do we find the update on the current standings?

Alright dude, I tossed you 15 bones today. I typically make all charitable donations to the USO so this is a one off. After clicking on the page, I've concluded that you gotta advertise those t-shirts! They are hysterical. I picked up one of those too. Glad to see you have smashed your goal and good work on the fund raising!
