Kilted Picture, Day Twelve

Ambulance Driver posted the standings yesterday.

Your incredible generosity has nudged me into the lead position, a spot that I've been striving for and would dearly like to hold onto. I harbor no illusions about the nature of my opponents; Caleb could close the gap in a single day like he did last year. I don't think, like Ambulance Driver suggests, that this is a harbinger of things to come - I intend to keep on fighting and clawing to keep my first place standing until 11:59 PM on September 30th.

So, in the interest of remaining the top fundraiser, here's today's kilted picture:

This is me at King Richard's Faire, which I will readily admit isn't exactly the most daring place to go kilted (I lost count somewhere on the second dozen kilts). But we hadn't gone the past couple of years and we all really wanted to go back. Both kids had a great time, and I got to crack up some of the KRF actors with a really bad Scottish accent (I use a combination of Groundskeeper Willie and Fat Bastard/Shrek for inspiration. Yes, it is as horrible as it sounds).

Again, as a reminder, I'm going kilted as part of the Kilted to Kick Cancer campaign. I'm collecting donations for two groups that will help further cancer research and awareness, and am humbly asking for your donations to either of the following:

Prostate Cancer Foundation

To entice you to donate through me as opposed the other Kilted to Kick Cancer participants, I have a number of prizes assembled that are being "raffled" off - see the original post for details. I'd like to thank  Michael W., Nancy R., Dragon Leatherworks, York Arms, Larry, and Mark for their extremely generous donations.

Remember, I'm still taking requests for special shots - you have another 18 days to see if you can find my comfort zone...

That is all.
