Holy smokes. I'm loading up for the shoot tomorrow, and while I was supposed to go light this year, here's what's going into the cases:

Mossberg 590 12 gauge
Turkish Mauser in 8mm
Ruger 10/22 Takedown
Bushmaster XM15-E2S 5.56mm
VEPR .308 Winchester
Colt Gold Cup .45 ACP
Smith & Wesson model 27 .357 Magnum
Sig Sauer P226 in 9mm with .22LR slide and barrel as well
Sig Sauer Mosquito 22LR
Ruger SR9c 9mm
Charter Arms Undercover .38 Special
Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special
Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38 .38 Special
Smith & Wesson 360PD .357 Magnum (because the Snubbie from Hell has to make an appearance, right?)
High Standard H-D Military .22LR.
15 firearms and an extra slide. I don't have a problem. I can quit any time...
The 8mm and Bulldog will have limited ammo available (basically I'm bringing all I have); for everything else I'm bringing plenty of ammo for each. Please remember that there will be a few full auto toys at the shoot (.223, 9mm, and .22LR), so remember to bring extra brass-cased ammo for each if you'd like to turn money into noise. Same rule applies on targets - anything you want to shoot is fine, just clean up when you're done and take the pieces home...
If you need driving directions to the Sooper Seekrit range, shoot me an e-mail post haste. If you're planning on attending the dinner tonight - 7:00 PM at KC's Ribshack in Manchester - ask for the table for "Jay" when you arrive. I believe they're putting us upstairs for a little more privacy (and to protect the sanity of the other patrons...). We're most likely going to keep it a somewhat early night, since most will be up pretty early in the morning.
A few folks have asked about open carry at the dinner, and while it is perfectly legal in NH, it's also the largest city, and as such, you run the risk of some knucklehead panicking. I do not know what the official KC's policy is on open carrying; there's no binding signage in NH - but they can always ask you to leave. Carry at your own discretion; have a means to safely lock in your vehicle; or leave at home. It's up to each person to chance - and there's always the very real possibility that nothing will happen.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

That is all.

I'm all packed and getting ready to load the truck and head out. One of us at least kept the promise to pack light. Light for me is 9 or 10. Hi, I'm Mopar, and I'm a gun nut!

Heh. I grabbed another gun at the last minute, so I'm up to 16. Plus the two I'll be carrying...

Brendan and I made it to Manchester and have had lunch at KC's Rib Shack.

We dragged along, 6 pistols and 5 rifles:

Beretta 70S
Beretta 92FS
Beretta 92SB
Glock 26
Remington R1-1911
Ruger MKII

Bulgarian AK
Marlin 25MN
Marlin 336
Romanian AK WASR
Stag Arms AR

I think we have enough ammo, probably 600 or so rounds of 7.62x39, 500 or so of 62 grain 5.56x45 and another 400 or so of 55 grain, 50 rounds of .35 Remington, over a thousand rounds of .22LR, 250 rounds of .45 ACP, 500 of 9mm. I also have some ammo in other calibers either to shoot through someone else's gun or to dispose of in another manner. That should make for a fun day.

See you tonight at KC's.

All the best,
Glenn B

I'm going light this time, only 9 or maybe 10. I am planning to bring ammo in calibers for guns I want to try.

Most of my trips to the range are with a 22 revolver only.

Are they going to the range or planning on invading Canada?

Sounds like a load of fun either way. :)
