Stayin' Classy...

State Rep. Candidate Says Nearly 40 Campaign Signs Were Stolen Or Destroyed
ASHLAND (CBS) – A candidate running for state representative says someone is destroying his campaign signs.

Jon Fetherston says his campaign erected 110 yard signs around Ashland three weeks ago.
The cynic in me wonders if 40 signs is a cheap price to pay for TV advertising. The other cynical side says that his opponent is the party of slashing the tires of "get out the vote" vans, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. It's kinda sad when you can't figure out which set of spineless, craven politicians you believe could be responsible more...

In either case, at least there will be a stimulus in the political sign making sector...

That is all.

Stolen signs are normal here in uber lib Broward county. I am afraid to put any conservative bumper stickers on my car for fear of slashed tires, keyed paint or worse. The local kind, gentle, caring, open minded libs seem to have a vicious streak if you disagree with their world view.

I take down 2 or 3 poltical signs that are put on my yard without permission every election. they make good target backers at the range :-)
