In Which I Am A Slacker...

So, yesterday I was up at 4:00 AM to get my son to Lambeau Field in time to catch the Green Bay Packers practice. Add in family commitments one TheBoy and I returned to our base of operations in the Badger State, then toss in a chance meeting with Strings and his lovely bride at the end of the day, and I got back around midnight. At least check I had something like 75 e-mails waiting for me; I'm perilously behind on my blog reading, and, worst of all, I won't be able to participate in tonight's Squirrel Report [insert sad face here]. But at least my #1 blogdaughter will be participating, and she's about a zillion times easier on the ears as well as the eyes than I...

I'll be back to normal - or at least what passes for normal for me - next week, promise...

That is all.

Was great meeting you, MoB. And Spoon agrees: you're welcome here anytime you happen to be in the state.

Next time, we'll have to plan further in advance: there's an indoor range roughly 20 minutes south of where we sat. Didn't even think of it until we were almost home

But NO PRESSURE, right?

Strings,

The pleasure was all mine. It's always great to be able to add someone new to the "Bloggers I've Met" section, and you and SS were excellent company.

Would have been great to have hit the range; maybe next time we're out here we can plan something...

Nancy,

You'll be great. Of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

Just remember not to do *too* good of a job or they'll kick me out and have you on permanently... ;)
