Go. Sign Up. Wear A Skirt...

Ambulance Driver has preliminary information on this year's Kilted to Kick Cancer Fundraiser.

Last year, a ragtag group of EMS and gunbloggers raised over $12,000 for cancer research. This year our goal is quadruple that - and I want to exceed that goal. There are some really sweet prizes up for grabs this year (being privy to the stats on one of the prizes, let's just say that I'm keen on putting in a good showing...). We'll have more specifics on where donations go as the event gets closer.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve this year, because I'm still smarting from my second place finish last year. I'm in it to win it this year, and will be pulling out all the stops (and showing a complete and utter lack of anything even remotely resembling shame) in my bid for your donations. I'm not going to divulge any secrets, yet, except that there will be some awesome incentives to donate to my campaign rather than Kelly's... :)

Participate if you want, donate if you can, ideally to Your Humble Host...

That is all.

I want to see thigh holster this year under that kilt.

Dear Anonymous - you do realize that would involve viewing JayG's thigh, don't you? If you are willing to, I will donate a certain amount to ensure that only you get to do that. As a matter of fact, I'll match all contributions under $0.02 for the first 250 who take up the challenge!

(Ye gads? Is it NPR's membership drive week again??)

stay safe.

Do you not remember the pic taken over the fan from last year?

Some things can’t be “unseen”.
I had to bleach my eyes after that one.

Heck, I've already snagged $10 in donations and it hasn't even really started!

Do you take requests, Jay?

I'd like to see you in a kilt, blazing away FULL AUTO with the Scattered Automatic Weapon of your choice.
