Go West Young Man...

So, at the end of the week I'll be getting on a plane for the third time this year. I had flown once since 9/11 until this year - when I'll be flying no less than four times. We're visiting family in Wisconsin, home of the Packers and Aaron Rodgers (I've heard my son say exactly that about 50 gabillion times now) for a family reunion, and we'll be in town for about a week (and don't worry, the G. household has a very well armed housesitter...). I've already got in touch with a friend from high school about meeting up, and Strings just sent a quasi-irate e-mail indignant that I was going to be in his neck of the woods and hadn't gotten in touch.

Mea culpa, Strings, mea culpa.

Anyways, we're staying with family, and a good chunk of my time is spoken for, but I might have a free evening Tuesday through Thursday if there's any folks in the area that would like to get together. Strings is already a definite; I can't recall right off the top of my head how many other Badger Bloggers there are (sorry folks!), but if anyone would be interested in meeting up, give a holler. I'm always up for meeting new folks when I travel, and I haven't been out this way in a long time.

Who's up for a Badger Blogmeet?

That is all.

What part of Wisconsin? I might be able to scoot over the border if it's within an hour or so of Minneapolis. New Richmond area, for instance.

Depending on work of course.

Similar to Atom Smasher, I'm no cheesehead, but I am in Mordor to the south. (at least, while i'm not studying in a freer state) If it's within easy reach of the PRI (People's Republic of Illinois) I may be able to make an appearance.

Lower mid-central WI - about equidistant from the IL and MI borders (~ 3 hours in).

E-mail for specifics...
