Darwin's Bug Zapper Strikes Again!

Joseph in IL sends in another story that revolves around what I've come to call "Darwin's Bug Zapper":

Convicted wire thief dies slicing electric wires
GARY, Ind. (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Kevin Roy was killed as he sliced live NIPSCO wires adjacent to a church Friday morning in Gary, Ind.

Roy, 48, a Glen Park resident, was pronounced dead outside Agape Tabernacle in the 1400 block of East 49th Avenue shortly after 6:50 a.m. when a passerby noticed him lying on the ground.
(emphasis mine)

I'm sorry. That's about as clear a sign as you've ever going to get. Steal wiring from a church? You're gonna fry! It's hard to work up a lot of sympathy for someone dying in such a stupid, senseless way - and stories like these are fairly common. He'd been arrested for stealing wire before, so it's not like this was a one-time deal - but it's the last time he'll ever steal wire.

Prosecutors are letting him go - they know he won't hold a charge any longer...

That is all.

Maybe it was God's will that he was "grounded"!

I wonder if someone caught him and he tried to bolt.

He's already been charged.

That happened here also. The old rail line is abandoned, rails and ties are gone. But, the electric line is still running thru the area. Idiot climed the tower to get at the copper. Fried his ass. You can't fix stupid.

Well, agape is defined as the love that consumes. It certainly consumed this fellow.
