Another Day, Another Addition...

Commenter Ed and eiaft sent in the following heartwarming story out of FLA:

Coin store owner shoots would-be robber
NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Pasco County sheriff's detectives are investigating an attempted robbery that left one man dead in New Port Richey.

According to deputies, Wayne Justice, the owner of Justice Coin, shot and killed 25-year-old Jacob Sanborn after Sanborn threatened him with a knife.

Because this is Florida, home of kill anyone you want at any time for any reason Stand Your Ground (sorry, I think someone from the Brady Campaign hijacked my keyboard for a moment there), no charges are expected. Threaten to kill someone with a weapon, don't be surprised if they shoot your criminal ass dead - in America, that's how we roll.

Someone tries to kill you, you try to kill them right back - words to live by.

Dead Goblin Count: 306

That is all.

That should be quote of the day (or of the year!)

"Threataned"? Sanborn cut Justice's ear with the knife and was shot for his efforts.

Let's wait for Sanborn's mommy to post pictures of him as a ten year old and for mommy to try to tell us that Justice was the aggressor for not leaving the store by the back door when Sanborn pulled out the knife to trim his fingernails.

For those accustomed to Massachusetts, Google (or other search engine) the address of Justice Coins in Hudson, Florida. Then search for "gun shops Hudson Florida". Be prepared to look at a long list of addresses with the map.

Hudson, not NPR...

Stupid geographically ignorant Tampa based news org.

The Ol' Time Gun Shop, which is a few hundred feet east of Justice Coins, is worth the drive from Tampa to Hudson, but I would not accuse anyone at either the Tampa Tribune or the Tampa Bay Times of being familiar with the store or others like it in the area as customers.
